Bodies appeared little by little, moving my subject, involving new compositions, new narratives, bringing references to classical painting.
Recently I have been exploring a new subject, the landscape, which allows me to break my codes with less narrative escapes.
"Atmospheric" landscapes, playing on the perception of space and light. Or forest landscapes offering more identifiable elements, for a rawer, more dynamic painting.
Today, I alternate between these three subjects: the head, the group and the landscape. In parallel with this studio work, I create in situ pictorial performances in very large formats where I reconnect with a rawer, more experimental painting of heads, sometimes bordering on figuration. These achievements are breaths.
